During my 10-month internship at Arista Networks, I gained comprehensive expertise in cloud networking over the first 5 months, focusing on advanced network architectures and solutions. In the latter half, I honed my skills in client servicing by applying cloud networking knowledge to real-world scenarios, emphasizing automation and process optimization. This internship provided valuable exposure to the corporate world, enhancing my technical abilities and professional efficiency while preparing me for dynamic client interactions and operational challenges.
Delivered innovative network design for cloud architectures, implementation, and automation solutions for enterprise scale projects, ensuring seamless operations and client satisfaction through the following projects:
1. Arista Pune ABZ Lab:
Designed and structured the lab setup to ensure optimal usability. Created topologies resembling real-world client networks for efficient testing setups, enhancing compatibility and reliability.
2. ICICI Datacenter Project:
Managed the IP address pool allocation for seamless identification on Arista’s CloudVision Portal. Configured VLANs and VXLANs on a large scale, implemented interface configurations, and resolved physical and logical issues. Delivered a fully operational datacenter with a ready-for-use network topology.
3. ICICI DMF Project:
Planned and executed configurations to meet client-specific traffic monitoring requirements. Structured and implemented solutions, troubleshooting challenges, and delivered a fully functional, client-ready network.
4. ICICI Operations:
Provided comprehensive training to the operations team, focusing on Arista’s CloudVision Portal, Zero Touch, and Zero Trust methodologies. Guided them in understanding topology configurations and leveraging automation tools for operational efficiency.
Led cloud networking implementations across enterprise projects (e.g., ICICI Bank), using Arista’s EOS and CloudVision to configure VXLANs, BGP/OSPF routing, and automate datacenter deployments.
Built internal dashboards and tools for visualizing topology status, configuration states, and automation outcomes, aiding operational clarity and client demos.
Extensively used Python for automating network configurations, managing IP workflows, and scripting deployment processes within Arista’s CloudVision Portal.
Used in creating internal portals and interfaces to manage automation workflows and visualize topology setups.
Supported AI-like automation behavior in network configuration systems for large-scale deployments across client networks.
